Paving Laborer – Hourly Pay Rates $18.00 to $28.00 DOE

Clark County Paving Inc, a family owned and ran business since 1996, has immediate openings for paving laborers. As a paving laborer, you would be teamed up with a diverse and experienced paving crew, building your skills and capability in areas of residential, commercial, school, and public works projects. We value the importance of hard work, commitment, and willingness to succeed as our organization provides the highest levels of service to our customers and community.
Clark County Paving offers a full benefits package including medical, dental and vision and an employer contributed 401k plan for our permanent full-time employees to help you build toward financial success. Also, provide paid training and job required certifications as needed.
Job Duties:

Moving equipment to and from job site.

  • Offloading and onloading equipment, as well as properly strapping/securing to their appropriate trailers.
  • Obtaining and organizing required tools for each project.
  • Performing labor duties alongside asphalt paving machinery.
  • Cleaning up project site.
  • Dismantling and removing traffic signs and barricades from projects and restoring them to their assigned location in the yard.
  • Additional duties as they arise.
  • Ensure all safety procedures and policies are followed.
  • During peak season, you can expect to work 10+ hours each day Monday-Friday, with weekends as needed.

Requirements:

  • Lifting of 80+ pounds on a consistent basis while standing, lifting, and bending in hot weather.
  • Operate company vehicles and equipment with previous towing experience preferred.
  • Operation experience with hand and power tools preferred.
  • Loading and unloading of job site specific equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Pass drug screening.
  • Flagging experience preferred.
  • An additional consideration for qualified applications with CDL Class A.

Sealcoat and Striping Laborer – Hourly Pay Rates $18.00 to $24.00 DOE

Clark County Paving Inc, a family owned and ran business since 1996, has immediate openings for sealcoat laborers. As a sealcoat laborer, you would be teamed up with a diverse and experienced paving crew, building your skills and capability in areas of residential, commercial, school, and public works projects. We value the importance of hard work, commitment, and willingness to succeed as our organization provides the highest levels of service to our customers and community.

Job Duties:

  • Moving equipment to and from job site.
  • Getting all tools needed, sealcoat, brooms, squeegee, hoses, hand tools, etc.
  • Prep job site with hand blowers, walk behind blowers and roto brooms. Including masking off outlined areas to protect surfaces.
  • Squeegee, broom, and spray sealcoat on the paved surfaces.
  • Crack seal areas if needed, included the cleaning out of the impacted areas.
  • Clean-up job site and load up equipment daily.
  • Setup traffic cones, barriers and or caution tape to limit traffic to the drying area.
  • Additional duties as they arise.
  • Ensure all safety procedures and policies are followed.
  • During peak season, you can expect to work 10+ hours each day Monday-Friday, with weekends as needed.

Requirements:

  • Lifting of 30+ pounds on a consistent basis while standing, lifting, and bending in hot weather.
  • Operate company vehicles and equipment with previous towing experience preferred.
  • Operation experience with hand and power tools preferred.
  • Previous sealcoat and striping experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Pass drug screening.
  • Flagging experience preferred.

Grading Laborer – Hourly Pay Rates $20.00 to $28.00 DOE

Clark County Paving Inc, a family owned and ran business since 1996, has immediate openings for grading laborers. As a grading laborer, you would be teamed up with a diverse and experienced paving crew, building your skills and capability in areas of residential, commercial, school, and public works projects. We value the importance of hard work, commitment, and willingness to succeed as our organization provides the highest levels of service to our
customers and community.

Job Duties:

  • Towing equipment to and from job site (roller, excavation and water truck).
  • Offloading and onloading equipment, as well as properly strapping/securing to their appropriate trailers.
  • Hand raking rock.
  • Operating 3 ½ ton roller.
  • Clean-up job site and load up equipment daily.
  • Additional duties as they arise.
  • Ensure all safety procedures and policies are followed.
  • During peak season, you can expect to work 10+ hours each day Monday-Friday, with weekends as needed.

Requirements:

  • Lifting of 80+ pounds on a consistent basis while standing, lifting, and bending in hot weather.
